I just had the Brazilian Blowout put on my hair, and I am obsessed! I was VERY skeptical at first, because I like having curl in my hair and I didn't want it to be permanently straight or damaged. After I saw the end result on someone else, I was impressed. I got online and did some research and decided to try it out. The process takes about an hour and a half or two hours, and you can do it right after a color. It lasts for 12 weeks and the best part is that it is a conditioning treatment that leaves your hair in better condition than when you started! Even if your hair is really damaged, you can still have it done- it actually works better! Now when I blow dry my hair with a round brush it looks like I flatironed it- silky, soft, shiny! If I let it air dry, it has a loose wave and no frizz at all! It still holds curl if i use the curling iron or flat iron, too. It is absolutely unbelievable! I don't know if I can ever go back to my coarse, frizzy hair!

Would YOU wear pastel hair?

 So it looks like a new hair trend is pastel hair, or pastel highlights.  This is definitely for someone who wants to stand out!  I think if someone were to permanently color their hair like this, they should stick to some streaks that come from underneath... and are easy to cover up when they are over it two weeks later!  Best bet?  Try some spray on color, or even better, head on over to Sally's and buy some clip in color pieces.  Much less commitment!!  I promise your hair will be happier!

Ombre' Hair... my new OBSESSION

If you have looked at any fashion magazine lately, chances are you are going to see some ombre hair.  It seems like every celeb and model whose hair isn't naturally blonde (read: almost all of them) have been wearing this type of color.  It looks as though your summery blonde has naturally grown out, but a lot healthier and glossier.  For someone who is naturally pretty dark at the roots, this is a great way to try out some lighter tones in your hair.  Rachel Bilson is one of my favorite "ombre" brondes.   The best part?  So low maintenance!

After I colored Sarah's hair on Tuesday, I couldn't stop looking at it!  I was obsessed!  She always lets me do whatever I want with her hair, and she didn't bat an eyelash as I piled on the foil.  Her hair turned out perfect, and it completely made my day to get to do something new and different.  It was inspiring!

Right now, I am pretty obsessed with bangs. Or fringe, if you want to call it that.  My instructors at Toni and Guy would get so mad if we said it.  "Taylor, say FRINGE!! We don't BANG our clients!!"  ha, ha!  Well, whatever you wanna call it, this look is hot!  Molly always lets me do whatever I want... whether I am inspired by Gwyneth or Lady Gaga.  Just kidding!  I was inspired by Zooey Deschanel's perfect fringe, and pretty much everything Chloe, and this is what we came up with.  Love it!
